Kixi Entertainment has licensed 19 x 22' episodes of "Steve and Maggie", a language-learning series by Wattsenglish Ltd..
The #series centers around Steve and his flat mate, Maggie Magpie. Each #episode presents a daily life adventure from the world of #children as well as lots of songs and jokes. “Steve and Maggie” draws children into their stories and teaches them plenty of basic skills: language structures, creative thinking, daily routines, self-confidence, logic, respect for rules, and more.
The series is dubbed into different languages (Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic, Hindi). Last year, “Steve and Maggie” registered 5 billion views and 8 million subscribers worldwide on #Youtube.
Kixi has licensed the German language #learning version of the series. “This quirky TV series is targeted towards our youngest viewers as early childhood education for pre-schoolers in their native language. Of course, it is also targeted at children who are not native speakers and want to learn German.”, explains Sascha Stradtmann, Head of Acquisitions and Programming at Kixi.
“Steve and Maggie” will be available on all of Kixi’s SVoD platforms. Kixi is part of Trias Media Group.
