Kixi Entertainment has licensed 51 x 9' episodes of the Polish stop-motion #series "The Treflik Family" for its SVoD service. Produced by KAZstudio, the series revolves around the daily life adventures of a family with a focus on their #children, 4-year-old Treflik and his 6-year-old sister Treflinka.
Their family life takes an unexpected turn when Little Uncle, an alien with magic powers, joins their household. He is invisible to everyone except the children. In each episode he takes Treflik and Treflinka on an adventure which links imagination and reality. At the same time he helps children familiarize with important values, such us friendship, respect, support, honesty and tolerance. The series is full of fun and positive energy and has a noteworthy whimsical sense of humour.
"The Treflik Family is a truely unique children's series with a high educational value in the way it combines teaching social skills, blending children's imaginary worlds into their daily life and garnishing it with quirky humour. What's also interesting about this series is that it has a destinctive nostalgia stop-motion, although for the production the latest 3D animation techology was used.
