19 #movies and one #TV-series form a content package which has been licensed by Kixi Entertainment from Constantin Film. The package comprises international children's movie highlights such as "Bridge to Terabithia", "Molly Moon and the incredible book of Hypnotism" and "Racing Stripes". The majority of the package consists of German children's movies based on heritage franchises such as "TKKG", "The last man alive", based on
the novel by Alexander Sutherland Neill, "Das Haus der Krokodile", "Wild Chicks", "Hier kommt Lola!", "Herr Bello", based on the book series by Paul Maar, "Mara und der Feuerbringer", based on the book trilogy by Tommy Krappweis and "Tiger Team - Mountain of 1000 Dragons", based on the book series by Thomas Brezina. "This movie package is a milestone for Kixi, because it comprises high-end children's movies that are based on novels by renowned German and international writers. Book-based movies are a perfect fit to Kixi's concept of educational valuable children's entertainment", explains Sascha Stradtmann, Head of Acquisitions and Programming.
