Sascha Stradtmann joined the aspiring German Video-On-Demand service Kixi as new Head of Acquisitions and Programming. In his new role, he is responsible for content acquisition and content planning on all Kixi platforms.
Together with founder and CEO Peter von Ondarza and content manager Christian Frosch, he will be in charge of growing Kixi's footprint in the VoD market.
Prior to joining Kixi Entertainment, Sascha Stradtmann worked as Multiplatform Programming Manager at Viacom International Media Networks for the children's channel Nickelodeon in German-speaking Europe. Stradtmann was responsible for linear TV planning as well as content planning on non-linear platforms.
Before, Stradtmann was editor-in-chief at the production company KidsTV in Vienna, Austria. Unter the creative lead of Austrian children's media superstar Thomas C. Brezina, he re-launched the children's programming block on the nation-wide pubcaster ORF1. He also worked as story-editor on the German-Austrian movie co-production "Tiger Team - Mountain of 1000 Dragons".
Sascha Stradtmann started his career in children's television at Saban Entertainment as manager for international co-productions and development. Thereafter, he worked several years as commissioning editor at the fiction department of German children's pubcaster KI.KA - Der Kinderkanal ARD/ZDF.
